ABOUT AEROFLOW POWER WHEELCHAIRS
If you have trouble moving around within your home and are unable to use a cane/walker or a standard manual wheelchair, a power wheelchair may be right for you. A power wheelchair is a motorized version of a standard wheelchair, controlled via the use of a joystick mounted on the arm-rest. Our power wheelchairs are fully adjustable and come in varieties that can accommodate any size and shape. They are easily maneuverable in tight spaces and fit well in almost any home. Those with mobility issues, such as arthritis and back pain, as well as those with respiratory issues such as COPD are all good candidates for power wheelchairs. We are able to bill Medicare, Medicaid, and most private insurances for a power wheelchair.
ABOUT AEROFLOW SCOOTERS
Similar to a power wheelchair, a power scooter is a small motorized vehicle, designed to allow the user greater mobility. Differing from a power wheelchair, a power scooter is controlled via a handlebar or “tiller” steering system, requiring the use of both hands as opposed to the joystick controls of a power wheelchair. Power scooters offer less customization and adjustability than our power wheelchairs, while also having slightly less maneuverability in tight spaces. Some models though, do offer advanced portability, and can be broken down for transport. As with our power wheelchairs, those with mobility issues, such as arthritis and back pain, as well as those with respiratory issues such as COPD are all good candidates for power scooters as well. We are able to bill Medicare and most private insurances for power scooters.
